7x7 Stainless Steel Wire Rope - 100 Meter Reels
Wire Rope Shop offers 7x7 A4 AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel wire rope on precut reels, in order to offer maximum value for larger jobs.
It has a polished finish and is suitable for most applications, such as balustrading, landscaping, security cables and more general use.
This 7x7 marine grade stainless steel wire rope is available in 0.54mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm. Please note that whilst this rope is flexible up to a diameter of 4mm, anything thicker loses flexibility. Our precut reels are available in 100m, 250m or 500m lengths.

Q: What does 7x7 wire strand mean?
It simply means that the wire is made up of 7 strands and each of those strands is made up of 7 smaller strands
Q: What is the diameter of 3mm 7x7 stainless wire rope?
The overall diameter is 3mm
Q. Can i bend this wire back and make loops?
Yes, 7x7 strand is flexible upto 4mm diameter, 5mm upwards it will be too stiff and you will need 7x19 strand
Q: Is 7x7 strand wire ok to use with wire rope grips?
Yes it is ok to use with DIN 741 grips but bare in mind the thicker the cable the harder it will be to create a smaller eye, we would not not recommend using 7x7 rope grips with simplex or duplex grips. The best strand to use with wire rope grips is the 7x19 flexible strand
