Stainless Steel Simplex Wire Rope Grips
Constructed with A4-AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel, these grips are durable and corrosion resistant, making them great for use in a variety of different environments.
Simple and easy to fit, simply remove the nut and plate, pass the wire through the grip and reassemble, tightening the nuts back down for a secure hold.
These grips should only be used with flexible 7x19 constructions of steel wire rope, and should not be used for lifting. Load failure is approximately 50% of the wire rope's breaking load.
We offer simplex wire rope grips to suit 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm diameters of steel wire rope.

Q: Why do you recommend only using this simplex rope grip with 7x19 strand steel wire ropes?
You need flexible wire to be able to pass the wire through the simplex grip. the stiffer 7x7 and 1x19 will not pass through. Only use these simplex rope gips with 7x19 strand wire rope
Q: Can these wire rope grips be used for lifting purposes?
No, we do not recommend using the simplex grip for lifting or safety critical applications
Q: Do i use a 3mm simplex grip with 3mm diameter wire ropes?
