Zinc Plated Steel Simplex Rope Grips
BZP simplex wire rope grips, suitable for use with flexible 7x19 construction wire rope only. Do not use these grips with 1x19 or 7x7 constructions of steel wire rope.
Simple to fit, simply remove the nut and plate, insert the wire and reassemble, tightening the nut for a secure fit.
Load failure is approximately 50% of the steel wire rope breaking strain. These grips are not to be used for lifting.
We offer a range of BZP simplex grips, to suit 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 6mm diameters of steel wire rope.

Q: Why do you recommend only using this simplex rope grip with 7x19 strand steel wire ropes?
You need flexible wire to be able to pass the wire through the simplex grip. the stiffer 7x7 and 1x19 will not pass through

No, we do not recommend using the simplex grip for lifting or safety critical applications
